The R32 is a Golf not a Jetta. Also, the R32 is not turbo, it is N/A V6 AWD.

Your car is not REALLY slow, the R32 is fast and a V6. 240 hp is a lot more than 153 hp.

i was racing a vw once, i think he had like a 1983 or something golf, it was rusty as hell and it was like some old greasy guy driving it, but it beet the hell outa me, of corse that was the day i blew my head gasket..

I was racing a VW once. I think he had a 1983 or so Golf. It was rusty as hell. Some old greasy guy was driving it, but it beat the hell out of me. Ofcourse, that was the day I blew my head gasket. Man my Saturn sucks, the damn thing always breaks down. I would drive my Escort, but the engine is blown.

 

Are you sure it was an R32? Could have been a GTI 1.8T done up to look like a R32.
