Sticker Removal? (Now Scratch Removal)
Hey guys,
As some of you may know, my exhuast wasn't even shiped in a box. [:@] So they put all of the mailing stickers all over the ****ing exhuast. I could only peel about 75% of them off. I thought that they would eventually come off anyway, but they never did. Now they turned a dark yellow/brown. I tried getting it off with gasoline at the gas station but it didn't help at all. Anyone have an idea as to how to remove it? It makes it look very ugly. [:'(] Thanks

Brian

Try soaking it with some WD-40.Spray the F^%$ out of it. let it sit for a little bit. There is also this stuff called goof off. But a little more expensive and if it gets on your paint you need to rush to get it off because it will eat it
I would try the wd first though. It always worked for me.

I would also try one of two things: Goo Gone (similar to goof off), or Bg & Tar Remover. It's some strong stuff that i've used to remove my badges. It worked great and left no ugly residue or altered the condition of the existing pieces.
Well I used WD40 and it didn't do ****. I didn't read the last two posts in time about Bag & Tar. I went ahead and tried sandpaper. My step dad told me I should do it. I'm so pissed! I wish I would of never used that. It looks worse than before. Now I have scratches where the stickers where. From far away it looks like there are two different shades of silver on my muffler. Now what do I do? Is there anyway to get out scratches? Should I paint it? I don't know what to do now. [&:] I have to fix this asap. It's really ugly...

you can always sand the whole thing with a smaller grit in the same direction and make it look like brushed aluminum. Bastards should have never put tape on it in the first place.
