Hi all. I'm new to forum and to Neon. My problem is my 95 model is back firing upon acceleration with loss of significant power. The only code I can see is 12 (which I think is just informational) and 21 (HO2 sensor). Could that be the cause? I'm thinking not but, I'm not a mechanic (understatement.) Any help would be greatly appreciated. New timing belt (3 month ago).

 

Main problem I always had in both my 96 neon and 97 neon was the cam shaft sensor sounds like that could be it or even the oxygen sensor doesnt hurt to get a new oxygen sensor good place to start and not much money.
