Default Exhaust

I am looking into getting a new exhaust for my neon. I was looking on Modern Performance and this is the one i liked. It's easy to install and is fairly inexpensive. I was just wondering if anyone had one or knew anything about them. Like how does it sound? Does it sound like a cheap piece of crap or does it have descent sound to it. Is it worth my money or am I better of spending it on a different exhaust? Thanks for any advice.

Sorry man, I don't know about that one. I have an 03 SE and I bought the stock muffler off the R/T for like 180 I think. It looks nice and sounds decent. I'm sure someone will reply eventualy about it though. Do you have a cardomain? I'd like to see it.

I have the same thing. Vibrant Dual Muffler... It looks great and sounds awesome! It has a rumble and pop sound to it. Chud 298 has the same one for his 1st gen Neon. Chud's Vibrant Dual Exhaust

I just got that one for my 1g a couple weeks ago

It has a nice low rumble, it doesn't sound ricy by an extent. I went to a car shop to see how much it was there and they said the list price was 400 and they could get it for me for 300, if that's true I don't know but if it is you're getting a really good deal on modernperformance.com. and you can't beat stanless steel

I think the stock R/T exhaust is sweet! not really noisey tho...

Hokey, just so you know, the 2.0 is a I4, not a V4.....

It is not a bad muffler. I have the pacesetter for my 1st gen. One thing that I do have to say is that mine had a nice low rumble till I put the header on, now it sounds louder and more like a fart can.
