im thinkin about debadging soon, and also removing those bumper things on my doors. what did everyone use for this? heat gun? hair dryer? bug and tar remover?

 

For the badges I just did it on a hot day...we have had a lot of them. I purchased a plastic putty knife for a couple of dollars to peel it off with. They came right off. I would imagine a hair dryer would work fine to heat it up but I had no problems without the hair dryer after a day of having it sit in the 100 degree sun. I then purchased some bug and tar remover to get off the remaining "gunk" left behind. I did one on a really hot day and there was hardly anything left behind at all. A few days later when it was a bit cooler I did the other side and had a lot more residue left. So I would say that the hotter you get it, the easier it will come off and the less residue it will leave behind.

Looks pretty good. I'd do mine but I like the Neon R/T badges. The only one I'm going to be taking off is the dodge emblem on the hood

I like the side R/T badges, but I don't like it on the back.

You can see that mine's debadged in my avatar, (with the new wing) but it's a sh*tty pic.

 

Did you keep the one's on the side or did you take them off too, you said you like them but I'm not sure if you took them off anyways to match the back

 

Oh, I was talking about your car. If I had your car, I would leave the R/T badges on the side and take everything off on the back. I never had anything on the side of my car.

 

I shaved all mine off when i painted my car.

i have a 2000... you think that when i take mine off your gonna notice it? since the rest of the car has faded in the sun over the years. im mainly worried about the molding on the doors
