Yes, it has more HP...check the search engine "Google" and type in 1995 Dodge Neon Engines...will give you a ton of info. My SRT-4 has 4 doors as well, and it blows 98% of the cars out there off the road....[sm=smiley1.gif]

That depends on how much money you have to spend...me, I go performance first. You already have a "peppy" engine, maybe a K&N air filter to give you a few more HP. But first, I'd get the car checked out by a trusted mechanic to see what she can handle...[&:]

 

1 more thing...... having a DOHC does that mean that i can do more to it then a SOHC?

 

Almost forgot, put synthetic oil in it as well. Amsoil or Mobil-1 are the best.

There are probably more aftermarket items available for the DOHC, but the Neon is a VERY popular racer, so you need to check with the different speed shops. Howell Automotive, Modern Performance, Dodgeparts, and your local Dodge Dealer (who normally has the highest prices).
