well, its been a couple months, and it hasnt gone out on me yet. I did have an overheating issue, but that was the fan relay - ah, the new and exciting things that go wrong with this car never cease to amaze me.

I cannot say enough- I love rockauto.com. they have great prices and super fast shipping!!!

back to the usual P0442 evap code. its like an old friend at this point.

also, getting P0300, 302, 303, 304 . was getting 301 also there for awhile, but i put a couple bottles (over a few weeks) of gasket conditioner into the oil to try to stop whatever is leaking into the spark plug area.

still havent found a reasonably priced manual driver window regulator. so no drive thru for me. which is ok. helps with the diet

im leaning towards intake gasket on that one. just get me thru winter, car, and on to tax returns, and im a happy camper!

Well if you really think the gaskets are causing those, you need to stop using the sealant additive from the wall-of-no-hope and get a real leakdown compression on those cylinders. You could also have a faulty coil pack out of the box if its not mechanical, but chances are, with all your other electrical problems...also, intake leak shouldn't ever cause misfire codes, only spark or mechanical timing.
Have you checked the voltage going to the coil pack while the car is running? if your multimeter is big enough, you could check resistance through the spark wires or just replace them all...PCM also sets spark timing based on reporting from various other sensors.

I replaced manual regulators for windows in both my neons this summer and only spent $15 a pop at the junk yard! I also had to deal with an overheating/ac problem this summer! sounds like we have the same stupid car lol.
