i have an 02 neon es, before i start i will say its been wrecked twice in the front but fixed each time. the problem im having with it is when ever its warm out. (over 60 degrees) it doesnt want to start, and when it was cooler out it would run for about a mile or 2 then the motor would shut off (id still have all electric). then id have to leave it for about an hour or 2 before it would start up again. the girl i bought it off of had the same problem but it would do it very rarly (it would be running fine then just shut off and she would have to wait a bit then try again) no codes pop up when its running fine but when it does shut off a code for the transmission fluid and for the crank sensor come up (not on a handheld device, but on the dash of the car when u turn the key to the on then off position 5 times.)

any help to figure out whats causing it to die would help alot. ive already replaced the ignition coil to no success.
