my sunroof is acting up it will go up about 1 inch and stop then make a strange noise like it does when i close it all the way. I took the glass off and I cant see anything obvious but the arms travel about 2 inches any ideas

 

Here is the 1st gen repair page with some good pictures. I am 92% sure the 1st gen and 2nd gen parts actually interchange. But again this post may be better off in the 2nd gen forum for my exposure.
