I liked my neon. For the price it was a good car. AND that in the accident that I was in with it, it took the brunt of the impact. I was able to go home that night from the ER. Even though my back is still sore after a month. It could have been alot worse.

 

Love it...but wish I had the srt4. You basically summed up my thoughts exactly.

was good till the gas mileage went down the toilet and i cant figure it out.. i havent stopped putting money in it since i bought it.. but im gettin it the way i want it in the end but i wish someone could help me with the gas mileage...

 

I love it, (secretly in some respects I like it a hella lot more than the mustang, the mustangs pretty much for getting poon lol) Its a fun car to work on and take to the track every now and again. I like competing with other cars in its class and a few others that think theyre fast (v6 mustangs). I like it alot, infact after I get a turbo kit for the Neon I wont give a **** about an SRT-4

My neon has given me no fits, no bad moments at ALL. Great car, great tuner, and most of all, it kicks butt with the right amount of $$$$$

 

I own 2 vintage vettes, but unfortunately I can't drive them every day. The neon is one of the few AMERICAN sports cars that can be driven daily in all types of weather. Camaros, vettes, mustangs, are all crap when it starts to rain. I consider the Neon the first True front wheel drive sports car.

I love my little car! I bought a 2005 Neon SXT brand spankin new (6 miles on it) a few months ago and I am so glad I did. It was a toss up between a Civic and Neon and I'm so happy with the choice I made. My only complaint is that I wish I could throw on all the performace mods and body kits and make her all pretty (not that she isn't already) but my better half has a 2004 Ford Lightning that gets all the mods around here. I'm supposed to have the "practical car" lol! I couldn't think of a better "practical car" to get!

He races every weekend and I have yet to try it out. I'm too scared!! Some day I'm going to take that truck down the track and then I bet I'll be want to get my Neon modded even more. Until then I'll enjoy every one of my 132 horsies!!!

 

I love my car. I used to hate Neons (kinda) until I got my own. It was once a rental car so it's been driven hard so Ive had to do some work to it to get it back on the right track but its a sweet car! Too many people go for imports - while Hondas are sweet, theyre not all that. Neon parts are a LOT less expensive! hehe
