heres a site that tells the codes for CEL , to pull up a code, turn ur key on off position3 times, without turning car on, it should display "done" and a code will pop up

The 2nd gens display the 4-digit code on the odometer. The 1st gens get 2-digit codes by the flashing CEL. www.troublecodes.net is an excellent rewource for reading trouble codes.
