Son has a 1999 Neon. His wife started it up & before she could even get her seatbelt on, it died. Won't restart. The Heater fan & turn signals work, but the wipers, idiot lights & gages do not work. Car will not crank over. Have checked all the fuses & wire connections that are easily accessible. Please help! I can't keep giving her rides to work.

 

I would clean the battery cables and recharge the battery. Also try to turn the engine over by hand. But if you are having problems with the dash, that maybe a voltage problem.
