Angry I need help ASAP

Hello Friends,

My Brother came to my friends and I with replacing his transmission in his 2000 Dodge Neon. He drives an hour and half every weekend for his band and drives 30 minutes to work every day besides that. The shop was telling him to pay 1500 dollars for a used transmission. Hense why we said we would do it. Since my friends and I are always working on cars. But we've come across a problem that just has us all stumped.

We replaced the transmission on the Neon. We took off the starter motor, intake, intake mount, suspension parts, battery, and the PCM. We put everything back together. All the grounds, connected everything to where it was suppose to be. Went to go crank it and...nothing. It made one big loud click then nothing. We kept trying to crank it with no sounds. Then we changed the ground wire to starter and it started to make a click noise everytime we try and crank it.

We hooked up the battery to another car for jump and it started making clicking noises every half second of the crank I would guess. All the lighting and radio work in the car. Headlights and everything. We don't know what else do to. My brother's battery on his car also had alot of stuff on it. Like red and blue and purple, white. It was disgusting.

We also did a scan on the car which we got. PO743. Which is a Torque Converter Solenoid. If you google it you can see more info on it.

I need help ASAP because my brother needs his car for all of his errands and work.

I can add a video of the engine trying to crank if need be. Also can add pictures as well just let me know please.

was torque converter on the transmission when you put tranny back in? It has to click in three clicks to know its instaled properly or it wont spin right inside and tear up ur tranny.
