Help please. I had a friend give me a 95 neon two door single overhead cam it wouldn't start no codes. I checked everything that I could. The car turned over with no start. When I turned on key no check engine light before starting. So this led me to believe bad PCM. I ordered a new PCM. Installed and car started right up. Feeling good and successful I took it for a few laps everything running great. The A/C didn't work, the power mirrors and the cruise control. I needed to get new tags for the plates so I drove it down to emissions and it passed with no issues. Drove home and on way the fuel light came on just below quarter tank. Right before drive way battery light came on and car died. Coasted into driveway and tried to restart. No start and same symptoms as original bad PCM. Car turns over but no fire. One thing I did notice is that the ground strap from the right fender to intake area started smoking getting hot. This whole time no codes. Can't read with scan tool any ideas please let me know.
