Default suspension question

I drive a dodge neon sxt and its lowered with arospeed coilovers. I love the way it looks but my problem is that it bounces way to much, so i was wondering which suspension system works better with the neon models. Im trying to have a smooth ride but still having the car low.

Default RE: suspension question

The springs are too strong for the struts. You could try going with a stiffer (preferably adjustable) strut. Don't know who all makes aftermarket units for 2nd gens though. Try looking at www.howellautomotive.com and www.modernperformance.com first.

Stiffer struts are going to make for a harsher ride. That's the price you pay though... Lower springs have to be stiffer to keep the struts from bottoming out, and stiffer springs require stiffer struts. So no, there really isn't a way to lower the car and have a "smooth" ride. At least not on a Neon.

Best of luck!
