back seat removal
I don't know if it's the same or not, but with the 1st gen Neon's you just gab hold of the bottom front of the seat and pull straight up to remove the bottom part and then you have access to the seat/seat belt anchor bolts. Remove the anchor bolts, then simply lift up on the seat back to unhook it from the top.[sm=smiley2.gif]
Cool, let me know if it does or does not work. BTW: you will probably need an impact gun to get those anchor bolts out, and it would be best to put them back in with one as well.[sm=smiley2.gif]
hey he was right on how to take it out all i have to say is make sure you use the proper tool it requires a torx t-55 socket anything else will buger up the bolt, and if you have a good sized ratchet you should't need a impact gun unless you don't feel like using some muscle, no offense roadrunner! LOL
by chance do you know how much it weighs, i took out the bottom part and it weighed like 3 lbs,

The back part of the back seat is much heavier than the bottom, but it really isn't that heavy at all either. Heck, the seat belt bolts are heavier than that bottom cushion.[sm=smiley36.gif]
Difficulty can vary a lot because the bolt ends stick out on the underside and can get pretty corroded if they spend much time around road salt. Penetrating oil from the top probably can't actually help much, but may give your confidence a boost. Did get ones out with a 12" wrench on a Neon with a very rusty suspension after letting them soak over night.
