Reusing cylinder head bolts?
2005 Neon SXT 2.0 automatic.
Got a re manufactured head from Advanced Auto. Someone told me I shouldn't reuse the cylinder head bolts because they stretch. But my Haynes manual doesn't say that. Anyone know what I should do? The stretching bolts sounds like a scam to buy more parts.

Torque to Yield bolts cannot be reused. Yours aren't TTY bolts. But you should check for stretched threads and straightness. Personally, I would never reuse head bolts. Way too much work to risk not spending $10 on bolts.
