we've got a Neon section for vehicle specific problems. This one's a pretty easy fix. If the engine has been flooded, just let it sit for a few minutes and then try starting it again. If you're having lots of trouble starting it, tap on the starter with a rubber hammer or a small piece of wood. Don't try too hard to start it, you'll kill your battery. If it won't start after tapping on the starter, then it might be a sign of an underlying problem.

Brian,
Welcome to DF. This is the place to come for getting ideas, checking out other peoples rides, asking questions and sharing knowledge. Lots of good people here. Glad to have you aboard.
Hope you choose to stay around
Always happy to have to have more folks in the forum and the Neon crowd will be happy to show you around.
James
