Basically, the tools you need to remove the factory air box assembly all the way back to the throttle body should be sufficient. The only other item you may need is a knife to cut a hose. The instructions should give you a run down on the tools you will need for the entire removal and installation process. Read over the instructions once or twice completely before doing it, so that you are well prepared and know what to do and what to expect.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

well since your talking about intake, what about pvc piping for a "ghetto intake". you know, take that nice friday drive to home depot and get enough flex-tube or just straight pvc from the manifold to the throttle body pass the old intake housing and down that little hole on the front driver side corner, and PRESTO !!! there you got an intake ((b.t.w) it's the way you want )

it's about 9:05 in the morning and i'm off to check that out and possibly do this to my car ( if it's cheap enough, which it probably will be )

B.T.W i got my performance roters( the ones with holes straight through and the slanted lines) and ebc green stuff brake pads, and my jet-chip add-on module to i guess "trick" the throttle sensor and intake monifold.

oh and pictures will be on it's way, maybe today ...........

i'll be back !!!

A friend of mine (now in Iraq) used dryer vent tubing to make a CAI for his SRT-4. He took out the driver's side foglight and ran it to there. Covered the hole up with a small piece of window screen. Weird, but it works....[&:]

yea, ghetto is the word. If i'm gonna do a CAI, i'm gonna do it right and buy one that was made ofr my car like an Iceman. Something designed by computers to perform to its peak.
