i just put a new motor in this neon and now it wont fire nor will it pulse injectors..
i changed the cam senor...still nothing .i checked the crankshaft senor ,and it appears to be fine ..ive made sure that everything has been done the way it all came apart ..
i had the head rebuilt ,,and im not sure if the is something for the camsonor or not...i put a new camsenor on but still nothing goin on with it ...any help with this would greatly appreciated.

 

When you take the key to "on", the ASD and fuel pump relays should kick on for a second or two, and you should hear the fuel pump spin up. Then both relays turn back off. When you take the key to "start", the relays switch back on, but will switch back off if the crank signal is not sensed within a couple of revolutions. The ASD relay is what sends power to the coilpack, the fuel pump relay, the O2 sensors, and the injectors. So chances are either the ASD relay is having issues (not too likely) or the crank signal isn't being picked up. If you want to double check the ASD relay, just swap it with the horn relay and give a honk...

The cam sensor is used to sequence injector firing. If it is faulty, the PCM will just batch fire. Only the crank sensor is used for spark.
