Default 98 neon

I am frustrated . Trying to get my car to start. cranks but won't turn over. here is what i have done so far: put in 2 pcm's, put in new 02 sensor, put in fuel pump. Still won't start. any suggestions. i have had it for 2 weeks now. only drove for one week.

chronological order of events: ( how funny events)

1. bought it and it would not start
2. put in pcm and sensor - started
3. drove 2 miles , it overheated
4. fixed the fans because they were not blowing
5. worked fine for few days
6. started overheating again( 105 weather in texas)
7. put in coolant- ran for 1 day
8. started stalling- driving 30mph and dropped fast to 0.
9. turned car off for 5 minutes- started again. drove home in driveway
10. won't start at

ANY NEON EXPERTS ON THESE CARS PLEASE HELP!
GIVE ME SOME IDEAS. I HAVE SPENT $500 TRYING TO FIX IT. LESS THAN WHAT THE DEALER WOULD CHARGE I AM SURE BUT I WANT TO SEE IF THIS IS SOMETHING EASY OR A JOB FOR THE SHOP! I am female too and have no clue but I have a mechanic who can fix small jobs if I know what it is.

check to see if you are getting any spark.....unplug the sparkplug wires and lay them on the valve cover...have sumone turn over the car...see if it sparks....
remove the battery clamps....and clean thuroughly...clamps and posts
it would be a good idea to check the compression too....ahould be around 180ish
do all this and let us know what you get

Where are you at in TX?

Have you checked your grounds, battery and terminals for corrosion?
