Good luck on that one, especially with that first bend off of the throttle body.[sm=smiley36.gif]

Haha. Yeah, I'd do the intake too. I slapped an AEM CAI into my 03 R/T and when you punch the gas and hit about 5000 rpm, then engine gets REAL loud and the power you can get from an CAI really offsets the price of it. Especially since you have the exhaust swapped already, the CAI is definetly the next logical thing to do. Good luck with whatever it is you decide to do!

as part of my cosmetic project on the car this summer and fall I'm also welding in a short length of exhaust pipe to the hood and frenching the opening (slash cut to match hoodline) and aim the pipe directly at my stock 95 airbox. The 95 airbox has a snorkel that comes around the driver's side of the head, rather than an tract going over the valvecover and it aims directly forward. Because I don't minde cutting and will be repainting anyway that's my "free" way of getting not just cold air, but a little bit of ram air. I will probably even use a rubber seal on the end so that when the hood closes it butts right into the snorkel. Unfortunately, that's the only year with that snorkel.

Will take pics as I get to it.

Well, if your gonna go that far you might as well do it really right and get tons of air with this hood:

This is by far the best looking, baddest *** hood I've ever seen for a Neon. As you can see it is a very functional hood and the opening of it's rather large scoop is right where the stock air box is located. Simply cut a large section out of the stock air box and make a custom box that will connect the opening in the box to the one in the hood and use a rubber seal and it will be a 100% true ram air. The hood is an A/FX AAR Cuda style hood and it has a good price, here is a direct link to the hood and info:http://www.howellautomotive.com/Howe...roducts_id=186

The sound alone is worth the price of a CAI.
