'02 Neon ES
Just bought my first ever dodge vehicle a few days ago and i am really happy with it. An '02 Neon ES. The only thing thing that bothers me is when i come to a coplete stop (at a red light or something) when i step on the acellorator it seems to take a few seconds to get up to speed. Now im not very good with cars, engines and so forth, i had a '91 Cutlass Supreme last time and when i would step on the accelorator it moved pretty good. This car seems to move slowly, so slowly it makes me uncomfortable if im turning left across oncoming traffic.
I can put my foot to the floor but still takes a second or so to kick in.
It's an automatic, all stock with 38,000 miles. Is this a problem or would this be something im just not used to yet? It rides a lot smoother than my Cutlass did maybe it just doesnt seem like its moving as fast as it is, the cutlass you could feel every bump in the road. Is that possible?
Thanks for any help given.
