where can i find a manual shifter **** for an 00 neon or how can i adapt one from the store so i can use the stock bag?

 

Its not really a matter of modifying the shifter **** (since its universal via three screws) rather changing the boot to fit more snug around the rod shaft...when i first bought a new shift **** way back in the day i just cut little slits into the top of the shift boot and then used black thread and made it snug around the rod. If you do it carefully it can look pretty good, but my recomendation is to buy an SRT-4 shift boot and STS so you get the cleaner look.

 

mines a twist and lock and the universal ones dont fit right

 

I had the same dilemma and wound up buying a Momo Leather boot, it looks better than anything I was able to modify. Time is money
