which header would you get
I must disagree. The pacesetter is a short tube header, not to mention that you will have a B**** of a time trying to install it. To get the most power you need a long tube one. Even if it means relocating the cat, do it. But if you have to go with a shorty, get a mopar one. People that I know that have had pacesetter header in there car have said that after a short time they tend to crack due to weak welds.
Actually techmanbd is right the pacesetter actually tends to give more power then any of the other headers on the market for the neons. Its beyond all logic that it does but it does. My choice just cause of cost would be pacesetter. But if you wanted it to last for ever you might want to consider the borla seen as its stainless steel.
P.S. Dont even consider the obx, its a very ****ty product. Not to mention made by a company that doesn't care about the people it sell it products to.

I had the Mopar Performance chrome header on my '99 R/T and I loved it. From what the mags I've read said, the long tube Kirk header is the best, but being long tube it requires a bunch of work in moving back the rest of the forward exhaust, cat and O2 sensor.
I have to agree with RR. I've also read in some mags that the Kirk is probably the best for the Neons. Sure, it's a pain in the [sm=smiley35.gif] to get it in and relocate some things, but the benefit will still have you smiling.
I was considering OBX headers, now I think I'll go with Pacesetter. They also seem to be the cheapest.

With an auto you will be looking at about a 17.5 at about 81mph. As for the time of a 5spd I am not sure but I would think you should at least run a 16.5. Thats just a guess I am not 100% on either of those numbers.
