98 neon - problem after Hit curb
hey guys, im new here and I joined because of a problem with my neon.
I slid into a curb at around 10 mp/h tops.
I got my rim replaced but it's not the original rim, it's a milti fit from walmart.(the best they could do)
So That fixed the awful steering wheel vibration but I have a really loud humming noise. I took it to Canadian Tire ( i don't know if some of the american guys know what that is, but its a big store specializing in car tires, and parts) and after the inspection the tech. told me allignment was recomended, but wouldn't fix the vibration and humming noise. Does anyone know what the problem could be, my mom is scared ****less when she drives it.
thanks, Mark.

One of my cars did the same thing & it was the bearing & hub. Had to do it twice since the frist time was not done with mopar parts.
The dealer did it the second time. left & right cost $365 That was 3 years ago. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a bearing was hurt.
Look into a stock wheel as it can through off any alignment attempts. They were not that much from Dodge when I had to get mine.
