Default anyone have info on the 2006 neon replacement?

the program number from chrysler is PM49 and it is the replacement for the neon (sx 2.0, still a neon in my books) in 2006

the company i work for has the contract to build the headlights and taillights for it and it looks NOTHING like the current or past models...

anyone?

The only thing I've heard is that it's going to be built on a Mitsu Lancer frame with a Hyundai engine....if you have any pix of the headlights or taillights, they would be appreciated!!!!!![&:]

unfortunately i can't take pics of my workplace or what we do and what we build, especially since chrysler hasnt released any photos that i know of, even we dont have pics of the car.

the lights are rectangular in shape, with an inner round reflector, and overall are quite big. the tails are square-ish and big too and i dont think they look nice at all, but im not much of a neon fan in the first place.

i will see what i can do to see if there is any legalities in releasing photos to the public, but like i said, i doubt its likely...

we have a lot of new stuff including the chrsyler LX lamp, and im not sure which car that is going into yet either, may be the new charger from what i hear

I'll have to get the picture from my buddy. Once I have it, it will be posted.

I think that it is a shame that the new Neon will have a Hyundai engine and be built on a Lancer sub-frame. I think what Chrysler is doing is cutting their own throats they are trying to improve on a design that isnt' broken and still works. What they should really do is bring back the 1st gen body style since that is still the most popular of Neon styles.

This is however my opinion and does not reflcet any one else's opinion.

You need to have a place to host it before it can be uploaded. Email it to me and I'll host it.
