That whole high beams thing is the funniest thing I ever heard!!!!! Just hold the lever back as long as you want the high beams on its that simple or just push it forward and drive with 2 hands, lol

 

Ok, it's the gauges dropping the zero, the dash remains lit. Someone said it was a solder joint problem, how do I fix that?

 

Check and reflow those pins inside the yellow circles. Just be careful. You don't want to push the pins out of the board. Then you'll have to resolder the whole thing.

 

uhhhhhhh, "check and reflow"? Not quite clear on the lingo. You mean resolder things that aren't connected. And how exactly do I check these connections?

 

The solder points are called flows. Follow the flows and reflow the ones that look bad. Just be sure to be careful when doing so. YOu can usually tell the good ones fromt he bad ones, when they are bad they are discolored or "cooked" off.

In order to reflow them you are going to need a soldering iron.
