Anyone know how to take the door panel off? I know there is 3 screws holding it on and it is also clipped on as well. Basically I don't know how the door clips on. Anyone taken a door panel off on a 2nd gen and can offer me some tips and advice. I'm basically too chicken to just rip my door panel off for fear of breaking something or not being able to get it back on, but I'll probably do it if no one can help me out.

 

one you remove the screws, and the clip on the window handle, start ripping. i used a long screw driver at the top to pry the first clip out, from there just keep pulling. its scary at first you think your breaking stuff, but they should just all pop out. of course once its off dont pull two hard, or you will break the handle and stuff.

 

why are you pulling off the door panels anyways?

 

Don't forget to undo the plug for power windows/locks or else you could damage the plugs if you just "rip the panel off."

yea you do have to remove them to get at the speakers.
