i have read posts on getting the rear 6x9's out, mine are blown, but i can't seem to get to them. I was thinking maybe i was reading directions for 99-04 so if anyone can give me really good directions or a link it will be greatly appreciated.
You don't need a torx bit to get the rear seat out. Th ebottom just pulls up, pull a little harder if it's the first time it's coming out. The back of the seat is also just clipped in, just pull up on it.
And I don't really recommend the Haynes or Chilton's for anythign major. It's a good reference but other than that it's pretty useless. I'd go with eht Service manual directly from the dealer. It costs about $100 but pays for it's self in the long run and is well worth the extra $$ spent on it.

You do need a Torx bit to get the bottom part off. It's holding the seat and the seat belt clips down. Just pulling it will only get you red in the face.

i knew the bottom of the seat comes out with pulling but are you sure the back of the seat just pulls off? b/c it looks like the seat belt things being held in wiht the torx bit is what s keeping the seat on...
