Default daughter made a mistake

Daughter dumped k&w block sealer which goes into radiator made mistake and put it in where oil goes drove car 2 miles and car stopped. What kind of damage is done car will not even turn over now.. I have changed the oil but did no good. Getting ready to take it in to mechanic just trying to get an idea of damage before i do. Any suggestions.. Thanks..

okreal bad it most likely went into your piston rings and seased you motor. but breath easy doing a motor swap is easy in your car

But seriously, the motor is seized up by now. A usedmotor can be swapped in relatively, if you wanna save the money.

depends, it looks like your talking at least $1300 for a mechanic to do it

does that include the price of engine ..On average what would price be to do an engine swap for an mechnic to do it everything price thanks..

Depends on what the per hour labor rate is. But you can get a used engine for about $250-$300 and swap it in yourself. There is a thread on here about pulling the engine and all that is needed.

Again thanks to all who gave advice. I dont have the knowledge to do engine swap. sounds like it would be @ least$2 ,000 at least through a garage, car isnt worh it. Daughter is 19 wants to get married in 6 months wont listen to anyone so she learned a expensive lesson. Again thanks probally just sell car outright i gues to a scrap yard any suggestions. We finally got snow on the ground here in lower southwestern Michigan.. Again thanks to all.

allright a scrapyard is gonna give you around 100. but you live in michagan and their is a bunch of guys in the 2nd gen area from their, mabey someone from around you may be able to help you out. so post this response on the 2nd gen site at the top of the neon site. who knows you may get lucky and their are some good gearheads in your area. by the way is it dual or single cam
