how hard is it to install the iceman cold air and will it improve mileage?

 

Easy to install.. and yes it improves gas mileage.

I wouldn't get eh Champion plugs. They've been having some "quality" issues lately with them and they've been falling apart in the head. Go with the NGKs.

 

Do I order those online or is there a shop I can get them at?

You can usually get NGK's at Autozone or your local parts store.

 

I highly suggest you find out what your poor fuel milage problem is and get that fixed before you start and performance parts. Try taking your car to a privatly owned shop (find one that does good work by going to local parts store they should be able to tell you who does good work) and have your car checked out. There has to be something wrong sounds almost like an o2 sensor but apperently what ever it is it isn't bad enough to set off the CEL.

 

I plan on cleaning it up this weekend

I am going to replace all of the plugs and check the coolant (I still think it is running hot) and make sure the wires are good.

I might even take the thing to autozone and have them check for codes even though the light is not on.

I added some cleaner the otehr day and I hope to see better results.

 

filled up today just under half a tank got 28 MPG looks a little better. Going to drive it a bit more, still planning on changing the spark plugs and stuff this weekend.

I looked at the gasket on the radiator cap and it looks a little big, so I am going to buy a new cap too.

What is the best way to flush the radiator on a neon?
