I guess a nice black would help the look of those drums, wonder how to go about it....

Tirerack, eastwoods, and others carry two part caliper kits for around $40. I think these do 4 calipers or two drums - so would run about $80 to do all four wheels on a Neon with rear drums.

what are these kits??
what are these kits??
FoliaTech ( http://www.foliatec.com ) also makes a two-part brake paint kit. Google for sources.
Tirerack sells G2 ( http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/g2/caliper_paint.jsp ). Eastwoods ( http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?i...10&iSubCat=412) is a similar 2 part system, but don't know who manufactures it for them.
One caution is that Duplicolor ( http://www.duplicolor.com/products/caliper.html ) and others make brake/caliper paint kits, but unlike G2 and Folia Tech, they are NOT two-part paint systems.

what does the 2 part entail?
what does the 2 part entail?
why go with these other sites as opposed to the VHT you originally mentioned?
I prefer the VHT type because I like the spray application. Also, you don't have to do all the brakes at the same time; with the 2 part kits you have to paint everything within 4 to 6 hours once mixed.
The Duplicolor kit does provide paint and primer - NOT what I meant by "2 part". I prefer the VHT self-primer over this because paint is a thermal insulator (at least relative to the metal) - I want as few coats on the brake parts as necessary.
