Looks pretty sweet. I guess dodge realized how many regular neon owners were swappin on SRT4 bumpers and hoods and realized they would just make one with it already done.

 

well i thought owning a damn srt4 brought at least a tiny bit of exclusivity to me, but now they've even ruined that for me...

o well. At least it doesn't look EXACTLY like my car.

 

Shades of such past "cosmetic supercars" like the the 318 version of the 340 Duster with all the neat paint etc. Also, the '70 Fury "S-23" that used all the Fury GT's stripes and 6 inch styled steel road wheels, but wasn't available with the 440 engine that was standard on the GT.

 

Thats true, but now people may not know what they're going against with all these SRT4 clones. Is it the regular neon or is it the SRT4. And like you said, anyone who knows the SRT4 and neon will be able to tell the difference, but I'm willing to bet many cannot. And they don't look exactly the same, but I do understand why you're annoyed.

Skateboard!? Guess that means I better start learning how then. I'm 30 yrs. old and I've driven Neons since my first 97 Flame Red BASE w/a "5-stick" and I've driven nothing but ever since. It's not age that decides the car, but the class of the person who picks it. My motto is "If it ain't a Dodge, it ain't worth driving!" I've driven many a car out there on the road that is Domestic or Import, and to me the Neon of new and current of the Gen.2 model is the Cadillac of the Compact cars. PERIOD!
