I just bought my wife a 08 Nitro it has the 3.7 v6 and was wondering if anybody has any thing in particular that they have done for performance, any tips would be greatly apreciated. Thanks.

 

The 3.7L has almost no aftermarket support. Better flowing intake and exhaust, performance fluids and a electric fan conversion are just about it. I think headers for the 3.7L exist somewhere.

 

Yeah, I'd start making my own stuff.

 

The Fastman also bores out 3.7L throttlebodies, and people have been pretty pleased with the result. A higher rear gear ratio would help acceleration, but add any more power.

I fitted a 16" directional flow muffler and a Mopar induction, really made a big difference, I also added a stage 2 jet chip.
