i love my wifes , plenty room , and im 6 ft plus . snappy on the go pedal . and 4x4 is a must .
dislikes ... stability , meaning when going over RR tracks it thends to sway. but easy fix with a aftermarket sway bar kit .

I had a 07 with a 6-speed manual. I did not like that transmission. I have drove manual transmissions all my life but I could never get used to that one. I traded for an 08 with automatic and am happy with it.
The worst feature (as you can read elsewhere) is the oil filter location. It is a real bitch to change the oil filter. You need good light and the right kind of oil filter wrench; an extra joint in your forearm would be helpful.
I live in the boonies with bad roads so 4X4 is nearly essential and the suspension on the Nitro seems to be better then other small SUVs. I haven’t looked at the suspension on the 4X2 models.
