I have a 2007 Nitro. Check engine light keeps coming on then turning off when the car is turned off. Ive taken it to the dealer a few times and they say there is no codes. I keep hearing a buzzing noise when i unlock the car with the key less. i did the gas pedel trick a got 5 codes where the mileage is.

Can anyone tell me whats wrong with it?

 

These are all random Codes from the PCM. First thing you have to do is make sure the PCM software is at it's latest update. If It is, you have to see all the codes from Other module and see if they relate to each other. That requires Dealer equipment.
probably a bad PCM or TIPM.

Also, what engine, and do you have Aftermarket alarm or remote start installed? if you do, remove the Aftermarket Alarm.

U110C-NO FUEL LEVEL BUS MESSAGE RECEIVED



Theory of Operation
The TIPM sends the fuel level signal the NGC over the CAN C bus circuit.

When Monitored:
Ignition on.

Set Condition:
When the PCM does not receive a fuel level signal from the TIPM over the CAN C circuit. The circuit is constantly monitored. One Trip fault.


Possible Causes
CAN C BUS CIRCUIT OPEN OR SHORTED
TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM)
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure) .



1.ACTIVE DTC

2. With the scan tool, select View Powertrain DTCs.


Is the DTC Active at this time?

Yes

Go To 2

No

Refer to the INTERMITTENT CONDITION Diagnostic Procedure. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure)




2.U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH FRONT CONTROL MODULE (TIPM) ALSO ACTIVE

Is the U0140-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH FRONT CONTROL MODULE (TIPM) also set?

Yes

Follow the diagnostics for U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH FRONT CONTROL MODULE (TIPM)
Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure)

No

Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module per Service Information.
Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure)
