Default 2007 Dodge Nitro P0335 Crankshaft position sensor A Circuit

2007 Nitro R/T. Had some issues a few times with the electronic throttle control light coming on. Well this morning when I went to start the truck it just cranked and wouldn't fire. Just scanned it and came up with the code on the thread title. Thought it was odd that one issue reads as something different. I'm an old school guy so don't know a lot about this puter crap. Any advice or ideas anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated, or should I just change the crank sensor? Also any advice or warnings I should know about changing it?

Thanks!

Ken

Do you have the 3.7 or the 4.0L engine? I would try replacing the crank and cam sensors.

Thanks Master. Yes, it was the crank sensor. I bought the cam sensor also, but it worked just by changing the crank sensor.
