In need of slight help
I couldn't find any other means of a 'How to' on Google or Ask so I come here.
My dad needs to get a replacement key for his 2007 Dodge Nitro.
He can't move the car.
I'm sure he has access the inside but he needs to REMOVE the IGNITION SWITCH to get a key made to replace the one that was lost.
It costs WAY too much to get the truck towed aka we can't afford it..
If anyone can help with a diagram or in-depth instruction as to how he can remove the cylinder so that he can get the thing to a dealer and get a key made would be much appreciated.

Unless the lock cylinder has been changed since the car rolled off the assembly line, you should be able to call the local Dodge dealer, give them the vin, and they should be able to cut you a key. That assumes, of course, that there isn't some variety of chip in the key, for some anti-theft system or other.

We called one dealer and they recommended getting it towed. (expensive option)
Apparently they have to program a key but they need the thing to do it.
My dad just needs a way to remove it and get one made.. then put it back in ofc lol
Also, thank you for the welcome ^.^
