Default 09 dodge nitro no start, no crank

Driving down the HWY at HWY speeds my 09 nitro just died, after 3 months it still won’t start Turn key and all accessories turn on and batt Is good. But no turn over at all. The fuse box relays click when key is in "on" position, but no start or crank. I have tried to read codes and it says communication error or something like that. I have tried my other key still nothing. I have noticed that my red security light is flashing now then does solid. Please help this is getting very frustrating

Obviously, it is not a fuel pump, coils, injectors, etc... if it is not even cranking. Check battery voltage while the key is in crank position. You stated the security light is on so I would start there.

Need to access with a scanner. It will give all the PID's necessary to point you in the right direction. Example, Valid Key Received by NGC, Skim/VTA Invalid key Received, Vehicle Theft State, Skim/VTA has Completed, etc...

If security checks out test for Power on terminal 85 and ground on terminal 86 on starter relay in fuse box. Power comes from TIPM, ground comes from PCM. That will point you in which direction to follow.
