Default Hill Assist/ESC Error

I drive a 2017 Pro Master 2500 work van. It has just 115,000 miles. It needed a new or rebuilt tranny just at 99,000 miles. Drove daily, but gently. Not long after that, Check engine light and ESC light would come on intermittently.
Hill Assist error would popup on display at same time. This would happen a few times a night or more. It would do it soon as you start the van. It would drive in a limp mode. My company took it to a dealer 3 times. They get the lights
to clear, but problem keeps coming back. Also, when you turn the key to start, it would take an extra second or so to start, then the service lights would pop on, and you may here a small shuddering sound also. Runs fine when the ESC light
clears, usually if you restart the van once or twice. Wonder if it has anything to do with the tranny swap, something loose or sensor etc.
