Default 3.6 Pentastar Cylinder 2 misfire

I’ve seen multiple posts about issues with the heads/valves on 3.6 Pentastars causing cylinder 2 misfire problems, and Dodge acknowledging an issue. My daughter’s Promaster is throwing cylinder 2 misfires and we’ve confirmed that the compression is low for cylinder #2 at about 60% of all the others.
Any suggestions about who to contact or how to go about getting assistance from Dodge to address the problem if it really is associated with a known issue? The van is in the Bay Area of California.

The warranty on the cylinder head on these 3..6 pentastars is extended to 150k miles now due to the many vehicles having the same issue, get it to the dealer and they should back the warranty.
I bought my used 2019 promaster with 42k on Dec 14 from a local dealership here, "as is, no warranty"... remorse set in the following day.
I drove it 15 miles home, all seemed fine. The next morning at startup the money light comes on so drove it straight back to the dealership. I forget the exact code but was something to do with the cataylist. They had a tech look at it and he said the code cleared itself but said if it comes back bring the van back and sent me on my way.
it wasn't even 2 hours later when the light reappeared so drove it back to the dealer and the service manager had me make an appointment but go ahead and drive as normal until then.
3 weeks later is the appointment and later that day I get the call saying the tech verified it was the cylinder head issue so they'd order the parts and contact me when done.
3 weeks more go by with no word yet other than me stopping in to check and pick up some tool i needed out of the van.
Finally got the call to come get the van and it was all covered under warranty, very relieved they made good on this!
The tech's notes showed #2 leak down result was 40%, #4 was at 60% and all other cylinders were normal and within 10% of specs

Hopefully your daughter's falls into the warranty, I'd imagine it will

Default 2018 Promaster cylinder 2 misfire

I am having a similar problem with my 2018 Promaster 3.6 that only has 62,000 miles on it. Engine light is on, loosing power under load; Changed sparkplugs and coils with no improvement; Cylinder 2 misfire error code and digging further low compression in cylinder 2. Pulling apart further looks like cylinder 2 valve seat is leaking significantly. Rocker arms all look good. Ram is stating the warranty is up and nothing they will cover. I'm nearly 2 hours from the nearest Ram service dealer so don't want to tow it that far if they aren't going to cover anything. This sounds a lot like the problem that existed in the early ~2015 models.

Anyone out there have any insights if this is the same basic 3.6 Pentastar issue?

What is the solution...new head? Not sure you can change a valve seat in these aluminum heads??

Any one hear of Ram stepping up to cover this issue beyond the 60,000 mile warranty....JFloors stated that the warranty on the 3.6 Pentastar head is extended to 150,000 miles....is that true for a 2018 model??

Appreciate all your insight and experience
