My 06 drivers window cracked while parked at work this winter. It made a flower pattern up from bottom. I took it to local dealer and they replaced it...no charge. Mane reason was because it started from inside of door and went up from there.

DTR = Diesel Truuck Resourse.

next time you have your keys locked in your car/truck, just call someone on your cell phone to get your other key and call back when they have it in hand. . .tell them to put the key fob next to the microphone and push the unlock button while you hold your cell phone near the drivers door. . .it should unlock.

That will not work, it is a myth, phones can't transmit the signals needed to unlock the doors

I tested that cell phone myth on 4 different vehicles and none of them worked. My thought is that cell phones transmitwith signals different from what the key fobs do; so how can the correct signal enter the phone, cross the airways riding on a different signal, the exit the phone keeping the correct signal information and transmit to the vehicle. It doesn't make sense to me.

Now, I have no knowledge of how things transmit and such so I make no claims to as if this is right. It's just what I think is happening.

You will have better luck unlocking your door with a cell phone if you just threw the phone at the window.
