It might not leak but it will still use oil a gallon a 1000 miles and how about the 8v71's.

I spent a good two weeks, a little at a time cleaning Dad's engine bay on the bus he bought and converted to a Home on wheels, when we first got the 40 footer anytime you got near the rear end the dirt and grease just jumped on you.

Still love the smell of a 8v71 in the morning

what about any of the 92's? I hate v-engines thats why I went into heavy duty diesels, just twice the crap to go wrong with twice the seals.

don't like the 92's and the on V I like is the 1271 mainly for the ungodly hp you can get out of it if you can get enough radiator to keep it cool the old 6110 wasn't too bad

all our military M977 class hemtts use the useless 2 stroke 8v92's.

I just got upgraded from an M939 5-ton wrecker to a M984 10 ton wrecker. . .thing makes a hell of alot of noise getting to just 30mph[:@]
