I'd have to agree with the setting up an investment account. I would also say go to as many schools as possible. Depending on where you end up, some of that stuff will come in handy. I was stuck in KS for 2 years before some guy figured out out BN had 5 slots a year for Airborne school. From there it was all I could do to keep from being shipped off to training schools.If you are always training to go to the next school, the time will disappear.

Best wishes and i think it is safe to say that all on this forum give you respect. If it weren't for our military, we might not be able to enjoy these great trucks and our way of life. Keep a diary of stories, so you can post them when you get back. If you supply the stories, i am quite sure Mayfair will happily add the appropriate pics.

If I was eod, I wouldn't be using bait. Don't stand out. You don't want to be the smart/ butt kisser or the idiot of the group unless you like pushups.

well everyone i am glad to say i graduated Basic Combat Training on June 15 and i am now in AIT at Redstone Arsenal. i will spend the next 9 weeks here then go to Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. EOD training is hard but im not going to quit and im going to do better than my best. i have to to get through this school. I hope everyone is doing well.
