Default Just got my 6.7 dually

Some of you might remember, I was trying to find a 2006 dually but couldn't succed in finding one so around Jan, I made an order for '07 3500 drw with 6.7 and 6-speed auto. I got the delivery yesterday with 9 miles on it. I ended up paying around $9000 less than msrp.

So far I am trying to break-in. I put 70miles on it so far and I had toreturn my queen size mattress and it did good , we are talking about 100lbs, hope I didn't hurt the engineDuring the break in, am I allowed to carry on the bed?

Everything seems fine so far and for those who helped when I was making a decision back in Jan., thank you so much.

I will post some pics later

Is your question about carrying in the bed related to the engine or suspension? If it's in regards to the engine, the heavier the load, the better the break in. And i don't see anything wrong with testing trhe suspension right off the bat. This is different from a brand new gasser. Loads will only help break in the engine better.

For the first 500 miles, keep the loads light, just to allow the gears time to seat and mess correctly. After that LOAD 'ER UP!!!

Congrats! Enjoy!

And yes......PICS MAN! PICS!!!!

Thanks all and also thanks for the tips on the break-in.

I took a pic or two then my camera batt. died, sorry for the crapy pic but I will take more over the weekend.

Mayfair, I got a white with silver interior. I think silver interior would be much easier to take care compare to tan. Thanks for the help bro

Also, timesublime, you might even get it sooner. Mine stayed at the port for almost 10 days after it came off from the ship. The dealer said, supposely,my truck was the last one to be unloaded from the ship so it took longer to get on the truck.
