A 12-71 Detroit when built right has *****.
Drew was right in another post when he said "A Detroit is the best engine in the world for turning fuel into smoke and noise." this vidio proves it.

There used to be an Owner/operator that drove for Snyder he had a corn binder cabover painted Snyder pumkin orange just like the company trucks only he had a built 12-71 that stuck part way out from behind the cab that he used to play with the Pete rooster cruisers with, he blow them right off the road and still have a couple of gears to go. I know because I was doing 97 on I-10 in New Mexico one time and he came around me like I was sitting up on jacks.

 

Wooow. I wonder what the fines would be if he got pulled over.
My dad's in trucking and he says it not uncommon for them to open up on those long desert stretches.

 

There are three type of police chases.

1 The 70mph chase through city streets lead by a druggy in a stolen car.

2 The 30mph chase lead by a white ford bronco.

3 The 110mph+ chase lead by a texas cattle truck.

 

The purpose ???

I didn't see the truck do anyting other than fry tires. I wouldda loved to have seen his 1/4 mile time.

Looked like he was from overseas huh witht the right hand drive.
