I have an iPod with iTrip, and I'm tried of poor quality with the iTrip, so I'm thinking about getting a new stereo. One of those fancy ones with aux ports on the front. Are the aux ports just normal headphone jacks? Meaning, all I need is a cable with 2 male plugs on the end to put in the headphone jack and aux port? I'd hate to spend the money if you have to do more. Anyone have one of those?

 

yes, it is a standard 1/8" stereo jack. Should go right from the ipuke headphone jacks right into the aux. The 2006+ trucks come with the aux built in.

 

I have a JVC that has a USB port in the front of it so I can plug in my kids IPods.

Good to know that's the way it works. I think I'll take my iPuke (ha ha, i love that) into walmarx and play around.

 

hmm, my 06 has an aux port on the radio face,, my wife plugs her ipod in whenever shes with me.

 

my ipod is hidden in the glove compartment..sorry on the dely of the pics...
