^^ Ahhh man, hilarious. Touche.

Actually, my dad's done more damage to CTD's and trucks in general than I have.
Although I did hit a bridge...

Damn, I wish you were my dad. I payed for it myself. But I did the work for myself, except fender painting, so I managed to get away with only spending $600.

I was the same way at your age, my first car was a 69 Z28, I worked my butt off for itand every penny I ever dropped into it, completely restored it and then got hit by a drunk driver and totalled it...I was crushed. My kids have watched me build alot of cars and trucks, my youngest son was a huge help on my Rock buggy and thank fully they know how much time and money can go into one and that you need to take care of it. It kills me how many of my daughters friends parents buy them new cars...my daughter is already working and saving up money for hers, I told her Id match every penny that she has for a car when she is ready to get one hehehe it keeps them out of trouble

I flipped my first truck. 1993 F150 4.9L I6 five speed manual 4x4. Got sideways she hit a bank went up bank and at top went backwards down hill and landed on the pavement. very bad day. I still keep the window sticker and license plate framed in my room so I never forget how much one mistake can take away.

Sharx...glad to see your girls a learnin!

I told my 12 yr old daughter she can learn my 59 baja first. if she can shift the ol vw 4 speed and climb the desert trasils, she can hit traffic any day!

besides, it does 90mph!

then maybe she can drive the CTD!

i'm 16, and my truck is still in one piece.

i've been driving for about 5 months now.. i did have one fender bender.. i was in a rush to diving class and someone texted me and i was reading it (dumb idea) and tapped someone infront of me at a light.. so theres a minor dent in my bumper now. i've had a few close calls but nothing big.

i've done some stupid stuff.. i've calmed down alot and started driving alot more smart, don't want to total my 06 ram

after reading a few of your guy's posts it makes me want to drive like a grandma lol
