I need suggestions forprotecting the top edge of my tailgate.
I just had installed a Duraliner bedliner which included the inside of the tailgate. I want to protect the top part of the tailgate with black plastic. The new Duraliners do not protect the top edge like they did years past. I want the tailgate liner and top edge protection as one piece.

I am willing to purchase another brand liner for the tailgate ONLY if it includes protection for the top edge.

Does anyone know of a good quality tailgate liner with heavy duty top edge protection.

Your local parts house/4x4 shop/stealer should have tailgate protectors, if all else fails go check out ebay.

 

You can always purchase the tail gate spoiler, I think I paid like 80 bucks for it, slips over the end and has a few screws to hjold it in place.

I second sharx, my dads half ton dodge has that tailgate protector it's a pretty slick piece.

 

I have a diamond platealuminum tailgate cap.

my 06 came with the mopar under rail liner and the tailgait part wrap up over the top of the tailgate.
